You'd go through these pump boats to reach the islands.

Turtle-shaped islet.

Cave on one of the islets.

The Governor Island, where a house for Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition was built.

The Children's Island. Well, it can be literally be the island for children. Kids can swim and play in its shallow, clean water.

Simala, Cebu, Philippines

The shrine dedicated to Mama Mary is slightly out of the way and up a mountain. Buses, cars, vans, motorbikes are all headed in the same direction so the drive will be slow, particularly on Sundays and holy days. In the car park, traders selling food, drinks and tourist items, like holy water are everywhere. But once inside the grounds, the sight is overwhelming. The throngs of people lining up to touch the Blessed Mary inside the cathedral seem endless, so we skipped that and entered the church to sit inside and listen to the mass. we went into the halls and viewed the many prayers and thanks given to Mother Mary for her help in answering prayers and granting miracles. These took the form of cabinets absolutely full of letters, cards, i.e. photos, badges, wheelchairs and crutches etc. The gardens are expansive complete with over-sized statues of The Blessed Mary and the many huge buildings on the mountain makes the whole view quite breathtaking. By then hundreds of pilgrims travel to Sibonga and visit the Simala Church. In the past decade the church was very small but because of non-stop flow of donation by  many pilgrims and by commercializing the Church, it’s structure changed to a very elegant and beautiful Church on the mountainous Sibonga.

Kalibo, Aklan, Philippines

We've reached this beautiful place during our International Conference in Youth For Christ at Aklan. Since mom was with me, she decided to go to places while waiting for our program to start. My uncle led us to this place to visit. It was like a Chinese-inspired paradise. I was so fascinated with the huge "doll house". I thought the owner intended the house for her doll collections. Those are so cute! On the other side of the house was a perfect view of an open sea. The other side was a family pool with a mini resto bar. The whole experience was great and is a good idea to go back again and again with the same or different company.

San Victor Island, Baganga, Davao Oriental

Hidden wonder revealed. This amazing place can be reached through 6 to 8 hours travel from city proper of Davao. You can go through bus or private van from Davao to Baganga, Davao Oriental. A 15-minute ride by pump boat to reach the island of San Victor. Experience a clear blue water and white sand surroundings. Perfect getaway for everyone. Surely a memorable experience.

Newbie

Let me first introduce myself to this blogging world. I just had this idea because of a friend, a new Brit friend. I met her on one of our travels. I was amazed by her because she's traveling alone. My dad was forcing me to talk to her and take pictures together and this one's my alibi, I'll take pictures with her for the purpose of blogging. Haha what an idea! But a good one. Then let's give this a try. ;)
